Random Musings

I've been sitting in the library for 2 hours now, and I have not accomplished a thing. I've checked myspace about 100 times, and ESPN about the same. In this on-demand world, you'd think that a site with such heavy traffic as ESPN.com would have new content up every 30 seconds or so...what? unreasonable you say? Well, maybe...

All I think about is being done with school. I've been doing this thing for too long, by my calculations, i'm finishing the 18th grade. Way too much. I'll be in NYC next year, that will be good. I no longer have to be a closeted Mets fan (in boston, you're wicked retahded if you aren't a sox fan, facking retahded if a Mets fan, and a complete Hahd On if a yankees fan), and I'll be able to urinate in public without fear of being labeled a sex offender (apparently in Mass. they don't look too kindly on draining the main vain).

Let's see, what else:
-it hasn't been above 35 degrees in Boston in about 3 weeks
-Girls in this city are either uber bitch or complete masshole, no in between
-I jammed my toe playing racquet ball
-Was it just me or were the plotlines in this last superbowl beaten to death six times? Particularly, a black man coached a team to a superbowl title? I had no idea! Who cares? To me, the only remarkable thing about this is that it's even an issue. A good coach is a good coach, period. No qualifiers necessary. Dungy and Smith are good coaches. That said, there is no coach good enough to overcome Grossmanitis.

Ok, i'm done for now. Best of luck to my buddy Bloomer with his pitch to DirecTV. I hope it works out for you, buddy. Also, well done on the blog, nice to see i have friends in I-Hope-Somebody-Reads-Thisville.

You are the man now dog. I don't even think my parents read my stuff, and I gave them the chance to do that instead of calling me.

Dude, that's exactly what we used to say about girls at Buckingham Square when we were 12 and practicing for bar mitzvahs.

The more things change, the more they remain the same.

Although, I guess they weren't techinally massholes. They were Buckingham Squassholes.
